Last Friday, Metash organized a summer outing to the breathtaking Mount Wuyi, known for its rich cultural heritage and stunning natural scenery. Employees of Metash from various departments joined the trip, making it a memorable experience filled with camaraderie and adventure.

The journey began early Friday morning as the group boarded the high-speed train, excited for the three-day excursion. Upon arriving at Mount Wuyi, we were greeted by our knowledgeable guide, who led us through a series of captivating attractions.

Our adventure began at the famous Yixiantian (Thread of Sky) scenic spot, where we marveled at the narrow, sky-reaching crevice that seemed to touch the heavens. The awe-inspiring landscape set the tone for the day's explorations. Next, we tackled the challenging climb up Hero Slope (Haohan Slope). The steep ascent tested our endurance, but the stunning views from the top made every step worthwhile. We then visited Jade Maiden Peak (Yunü Peak), where the unique rock formations and lush surroundings provided a serene backdrop for photos and relaxation.

The second day started with an unforgettable bamboo rafting experience on Nine Bend Creek. As we floated down the serene river, we were treated to stunning views of the surrounding mountains and lush forests. The gentle flow of the water and the breathtaking scenery provided a relaxing and enjoyable morning. Many of us took the opportunity to play in the water, adding to the fun and creating lasting memories.

In the afternoon, we headed to a local tea plantation to experience the traditional art of tea picking. Under the guidance of experienced tea farmers, we learned how to select the best tea leaves and understood the intricate process of tea production. The hands-on experience was both educational and enjoyable, giving us a deeper appreciation for the craftsmanship involved in tea making.

After the tea-picking session, we sampled various types of high-quality teas produced in the region. The tasting session allowed us to savor the distinct flavors and aromas of Mount Wuyi's famous teas, making it a delightful end to our outing.

The summer outing to Mount Wuyi was a resounding success, filled with adventure, relaxation, and team-building activities. It was a perfect blend of nature exploration and cultural experiences, leaving everyone refreshed and motivated.
